Phenoxyethanol is a gentle, skin-safe preservative used in some of our formulas to prevent bacteria and mould, especially in water-based products. It also helps condition the skin, keeping your glow smooth and nourished.

While we favour natural and organic ingredients wherever possible, small amounts of preservatives are sometimes necessary to keep products fresh and safe. The phenoxyethanol we use is high-quality, food-grade, and well within safe limits - in fact, it’s considered safe for topical use under 1%, and all our products contain far less than that.
