Here are a few common reasons why the pump may not be working, along with some troubleshooting tips:
1. The Pump is Locked:
Many pumps come with a locking mechanism for safety during shipping. To unlock the pump, simply twist the nozzle counterclockwise. Once it's unlocked, the pump should pop up and you should be able to press down and get the product dispensing.
2. Air Blockage:
Sometimes air can become trapped in the pump, which can cause it to malfunction. Try gently pressing the pump multiple times to release any air, or give the bottle a gentle shake to help the product flow.
3. Product is Too Thick:
If your Glow product is thicker than usual (such as due to cooler temperatures), the pump may struggle to dispense the product. In this case, warm the bottle slightly by holding it in your hands for a few minutes or placing it in warm water (make sure the cap is tightly sealed). This can help the product flow more easily.
4. The Pump is Clogged:
If you've been using the product for a while, the pump may get clogged with leftover product. Try removing the pump and rinsing it thoroughly with warm water to clear any buildup. Once cleaned, reattach it and try again.
